Such a nice phrase to say.
Most of the time, gifts are for other people. When you find something nice to give, something so appealing, so remarkable, sometimes you cheat. You keep it for yourself and keep looking for something more "normal" to give.
Well, there is a bunch of gifts that are so special that you can't give away. Not even if you want to. Those are your "first times". There will be a lot of "first times" in your life, and these are gifts. It is up to you to enjoy them or not, it is up to you the way you take them, the way you open them and with who you will share them.
There are some big "first times", some depend on you, and some not. Primer beso, primer día de escuela, primer coche, primera fractura, hasta primer día en la cárcel.
But there's one thing that most of us woud love to have or have had: Una perfecta primera vez.
Yes, just as in the fairy tales. Wait for your true love, find him/her, marry him/her, no doubts, no insecurity, lots of confidence, not even a single bad feeling, no fear, no hurries, no regrets, no culpability. And then: voilá!, lots of love flowing between you both. Just gorgeous.
As you may by now realize, that is such a great first time. But what if you share first time with someone else? I mean to first times a the same time. That'll be a cuadratic experience I imagine.
If shared, each one is opening its own first time (gift). And it can't be any other way. Your first times are useless for any other people, the one and only that can make use of them is you.
Opening that gift when we are not supposed to, is something I wouldn't recommend to anyone. It means you underestimated its value. And if it's even written in the bible and commanded by God, there must be a reason.
Your parents will always look for your good and well being, cuanto más no hará Dios?
Toma posesión de tus deseos y emociones, te pertenecen a ti. No tu a ellos.
